Grounded Carts is run by one person — Richard. This page says plainly what happens to the details you share here. The short version: they're used to review your store and reply to you, and for nothing else.

What we collect

The preview request form: your name, email, store URL, business name, and anything you write about your site. That's it — no accounts, no tracking pixels, no analytics cookies on this site.
Currency display: on your first visit, the site asks a geolocation service (ipapi.co) which country your IP address is in, purely to show prices in a familiar currency. We never see or store your IP; your currency choice is remembered in your own browser.
Fonts: the site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google to fetch them. That request necessarily exposes your IP address to Google, under its own privacy policy. We set no cookies and run no analytics.

How it's used

To review your store and email you back — that's the whole purpose.
You are never added to a mailing list without asking.
Your details are never sold or shared with anyone, with one mechanical exception: form submissions are captured by our hosting provider (Netlify), which processes them on our behalf under its own privacy policy.

Retention & your rights

If you don't become a client, your enquiry simply sits in our inbox like any email. Ask and it's deleted.
